THE FRANKENSTEIN HOUSE

The meeting place between the mythologies of the world

The Frankenstein House stands at the heart of the theme park as a temple dedicated to Human. This is the assemblage of all the educational elements delivered by the Park, comprising museums and spaces for university education.

The Frankenstein House is the nerve center of this vast entertainment complex, the entrance and the focal point from which all the attractions animating this wonderful world begin. Inside and around the House, different excursion options, monorails, walks, adventure trails and canals enable the visitors to commence their own adventures of discovery.

Established as an assemblage exhibiting different stages of developing of humanity in the past, the present and the future, the House contains a prestigious training school for digital arts, three museums, an entertainment area, a great number of boutiques, art galleries, a multipurpose performance hall boasting a state-of-the-art cinema-theater, auditoriums, conference halls, living accommodations, restaurants, a vast recreational space and many other original attractions.

This building is an impressive architecture with a floor area of 4,229 square meters. It is a massive and powerful presence, a fortress whose brutal outer surface is surrounded and crossed by vast bodies of sinuous water streams. That signifies the hardship that a human body has undergone while progressing along the long path that leads him to the dawn of eternity.

Two distinct blocks are separated by a gap in between. A bright and transparent internal structure is a big contrast to the buildings. The noble and refined materials are used to depict the image of the heart of an assured human, a prisoner of his body that is eternally tested by challenges.

The Frankenstein House is the control center of the Park. It guarantees an efficient coordination of all sections as it houses the administrative and management core, such as the office of the general management, the secretariat of the School of Art & Philosophy and its research laboratory, an office dedicated to the programming of major events for the Frankenstein Park: international conferences, seminars, master classes, artistic and scientific festivals, annual economic forum (connecting students with the entrepreneurship sector), but also comics conventions, the finals of multi-player arenas.

THE AGORA

The Frankenstein House aspires to be a meeting place between mythologies; it is therefore in the Agora — the heart of the building — that sets up statuary associating the great characters from different mythologies that have spread around the world.

The function of this aggregation is to present ancient cultures and to reveal to visitors the common millennial language that unites them. Indeed, these characters represent universal archetypes and it is astonishing to realise how much people from different origins, cultures and geographical identities would identify themselves with the same emblematic figures.
There are a variety of names and appearances, and the visions of the world are complex and multiple. The heart and the meaning of the message are nonetheless unique. It is a legacy, a common ground for all the nations on the face of the earth. And this is the mandate that the Agora has set itself to demonstrate
The Agora is a meeting place where the general public, students of the Mary SHELLEY Institute, the residents and all other stakeholders of the House can come across. The Agora, next to a shopping center, cafeterias and shops, is also a place for relaxation. It is a walking area, a grandiose luminous space, a place of great importance as it connects with lifts, ramps and stairs to all levels and sectors of the Frankenstein House and offers a panoramic view of various attractions in the Park.

The Agora is a must-see place; it’s a fully controlled space that immerses visitors in a journey where everything is possible. Temporary exhibitions take place to uncover thrills and surprises. Shows and entertainment are staged throughout the year in this vast square of the Frankenstein House.

THE PATH OF TRANSFORMATION

The Path of Transformation is next to the Agora. This attraction connects all floors of the House.
Visitors can access this vertical cylinder from its base, the ground floor of the building, to reach the top of the Frankenstein House. By walking along the path, visitors are treated with an unforgettable show. The latest technologies in applied imagery and virtual reality come together to make this show one of the highlights of the Frankenstein Park tour.

The Pass of Transformation is a temporal journey that offers the visitor an extremely complex animated vision of the birth of the universe, with the formation of matter, then of the appearance of the first life, to lead to the fascinating adventure of the body of a human and his eternal journey. It is a journey that plunges into the abyss of time, then jumping across the history to join the present time, and then finally reach the future, this indescribable time, both feared and hoped for which is already on our horizon.

THE THREE MUSEUMS

The Architecture of Man

THE FRANKENSTEIN SPACE – The past predicts the future
THE CONTINUUM – The present, a great dream is born
THE ERA OF ETERNITY – The future, from dreamed body to augmented body

Today, the degree of sophistication of technology and special effects is such that there is nothing that cannot be imagined to amaze the general public.
The Frankenstein House incorporates three big museum spaces to present what has been described as “Human’s inner movement of expansion”.
These museums will explain this movement from the perspective of popular culture. Here, cinema, video games, fantasy literature, animation, Manga, graphic novels and mythological archetypes speak to us and draw us into a fantasy world.
In a setting of an interactive journey entirely engineered and immersed in the scenographic and multimedia universes with the use of virtual reality and augmented reality technology, visitors are guided towards a special experience that projects them into the past, back to the present time and to the future.
Visitors are prompted to participate fully in order to be an actor in the full sense of the word, instead of being a passive bystander waiting for abstract ideas to be revealed.
The museums are continually updated, as science seems to evolve more rapidly than the dreams that generate it.
The sum total of these museums represents to the world a unique and prestigious complex dedicated to the discovery and study of what has been defined as the “Architecture of Man”.
